2012 saw the former Xtacy [a now defunct group which has it's 2 members go solo in 2007 but in their time, released 2 major singles, "Dangerous"& "My Baby"] member release a Jhybo-featured offering titled"Ligali"; in 2013, she went on to release the visuals to her Irich-produced tune titled"Tonight", as directed by Tosin Igho. Still in 2013, she had a couple of features and she released another tune titled "Ile Aye", which was produced by Twins Affair; come 2014, Nene Johnson, is set to do even much more as over the coming weeks, she'd be releasing different sets of pictures from various photo-shoot sessions as we anticipate the release of the visuals to her newest single, the Scope Nero featured and produced tune titled "Konga".
Nene Johnson begins her musical pass for the year 2014 with the new tune titled"Konga", a pacey beat suitable for club-rockers; the offering sees her seeking the expertise of Scope Nero, who produced and also featured on the tune. With "Konga", Nene Johnson aptly blends Afro-Pop with an African percussive instrument, Koo; with all set and done, she would be releasing the visuals to"Konga", as directed by MO Filmworks, in the month of April and whilst we anticipate that, check out the picturesque singer, Nene Johnson in a dazzling photo-shoot as you listen up and share your thoughts on "Konga".
